What WeFact is

WeFact is an online invoicing tool for freelancers and small businesses, with invoices, quotes, purchase invoices and Peppol in every plan, and separate modules for things like the bank link. It does no bookkeeping: you export the administration to a bookkeeping suite. WeFact has many integrations with hosting platforms and web shops and in 2026 took over the customers of FactuurSturen.nl.

What Factuurmaken.nl is

Factuurmaken.nl is also an invoicing tool without bookkeeping. The difference is the structure: reminders, online payments with iDEAL, the bank link that ticks off paid invoices and e-invoices over UBL and Peppol are in every plan, you pay per month and cancel per month, and a one-off invoice needs no account. Your accountant reads along for free from their own account.

Anyone who connects a web shop or hosting platform, or wants to track hours and collect subscriptions from the same tool, finds features at WeFact that factuurmaken does not have. Anyone who mainly wants to invoice and get paid, with the bank link and reminders included without modules, comes out cheaper at factuurmaken and keeps the monthly notice period.

Frequently asked questions

Neither WeFact nor the factuurmaken invoicing tool does bookkeeping. So what is the difference?

Mostly the structure. At factuurmaken reminders, online payments and the bank link are in every plan and you pay per month. At WeFact some parts are a separate module and the listed prices apply when paid yearly. WeFact in turn has integrations with hosting platforms and web shops that factuurmaken does not have.

How do online payments work at each?

At WeFact you connect your own Mollie account. At factuurmaken you can do that too, or let factuurmaken open a MultiSafepay account for you and pay a fixed amount per successful payment.

Can I switch without breaking my numbering?

Yes. You set the invoice number to continue from and the sequence runs on. You add clients as you invoice, with their details from the KVK register.
