Every sent invoice can also land automatically in your own Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive. If you work with a colleague, invite them as a team member, and anyone with more than one business keeps them apart in one account.

What we deliberately do not do

Factuurmaken is not a bookkeeping suite, and that is a choice. Your accountant does this better, and they read along for free. What we do is make sure everything the books need is already there: invoices, expenses and bank lines, neatly matched.

Frequently asked questions

What is in the Administration add-on and what does it cost?

With the add-on you have receipts and purchase invoices read by AI, match them to your bank debits and keep your expenses, ready for your accountant. It costs €5.00 per month on top of any plan, with 50 scans per month on Basis, 100 on Pro and 250 on Business.

Does this replace my accountant or bookkeeping suite?

No. Factuurmaken handles your invoicing and the light administration around it; the bookkeeping itself, the VAT return and the annual accounts stay with you or your accountant. They read along for free from their own accountant account, so nothing has to be retyped.

How does the bank link work and what happens to my data?

The link runs through Ponto, a licensed PSD2 service, and is read-only: factuurmaken cannot make payments. Incoming payments are matched to your open invoices; with the Administration add-on, debits are matched to your expenses too. You can revoke the link at any time.

Can I file my VAT return from factuurmaken?

No, deliberately not. You do see per quarter what you invoiced and how much VAT goes with it, split per rate, so the return is no longer a search. Filing is done by you at the tax office or through your accountant.

What is the difference between UBL and Peppol?

UBL is the file format of an e-invoice, Peppol the network you deliver it over. Factuurmaken exports UBL in every plan and sends over Peppol from Pro.
